Job summary

Hy-Vee Inc. is seeking an Overnight Stocker in the Grocery department to keep shelves full and organized for our customers each morning. You’ll unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate products, and ensure backroom efficiency while maintaining Hy-Vee’s standards.

This physically demanding role rewards teamwork and reliability during overnight hours. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and may prefer up to six months of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Up to six months of similar or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and helping them find what they need.
• Assist customers with finding products, reaching items, carrying heavy purchases, and passing along feedback or requests to the team.
• Unload trucks, stock shelves, rotate product to ensure freshness, and organize stock for efficiency.
• Monitor mis-picked items, product outs, and wrong deliveries, reporting issues to the team.
• Work with teammates to ensure a smooth, safe overnight operation.
