Job summary

New Narrative is seeking a Coverage Specialist to provide real-time staffing support across Residential Programs in Oregon. The role activates to relocate to other sites as staffing needs arise, serving as a staff resource for training and policy guidance during live calls.

It is a direct service position focusing on resident support, documentation, and program operations, with night shifts from 11:00pm to 7:00am, Wednesday through Sunday.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• QMHA credentials preferred.
• Active Driver’s License is required.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Respond to real-time staffing needs across licensed residential programs.
• Maintain scheduled availability and reliable transportation to support launches.
• Provide direct participant support per program expectations and requirements.
• Serve as a resource to on-call staff on policies, procedures, and documentation.
• Support routine shift duties and site operations as assigned.
• Engage with residents to support goals and transition planning.
• Assist with daily living activities and medication management when needed.
• Complete required documentation accurately within established timelines.
• Maintain safety, cleanliness, and confidentiality in the program environment.

Education

High School Diploma/GED

QMHA credentials preferred

CPR certification preferred
