Job summary

Safe Horizon’s Streetwork Project in New York City seeks an experienced supervisor to lead clinical services for homeless youth. The role emphasizes trauma-informed, client-centered care, harm reduction, and staff supervision across overnight and drop-in services.

Responsibilities include intake assessments, complex case management, crisis intervention, and coordination of housing and psychiatric services. Strong leadership and bilingual (Spanish/English) abilities are preferred for this

Qualifications

• Master's in social work or related Master's Degree is required.
• Two years’ experience working with at-risk adolescents and/or homeless population is required.
• Two years’ experience providing clinical supervision is required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn and integrate a trauma-informed, client-centered approach into work with clients; coach staff accordingly.
• Conduct client intakes, safety assessment and risk management.
• Provide direct client services including complex case management, crisis intervention, counseling and advocacy.
• Provide clinical and task supervision to Overnight Case Managers.
• Oversee all clinical services and staff trainings.
• Coordinate housing placements and transitional independent living.
• Oversee discharges, referrals and extensions; supervise group services.
• Maintain documentation and case files; report to funders.
• Coordinate psychiatric services and inter-site clinical case conferences.
• Co-facilitate weekly staff meetings; provide back-up to the Director.
