Job summary

Covenant House New York is seeking a Direct Service Manager to lead Resident Advisors across Manhattan and The Bronx residential programs. You will supervise day-to-day operations, oversee staff development, and ensure adherence to policies and procedures while fostering an empowering, trauma-informed care culture.

The role requires strong organizational and leadership abilities, flexible scheduling, on-call availability, and a commitment to CHNY’s mission of safety, support, and youth

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or successful experience in a related field.
• Experience with diverse groups and youth, especially those experiencing homelessness, is preferred.
• Experience utilizing data dashboards and other metrics to improve staff performance and client outcomes is preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates leadership by modeling the mission, vision, and five principles.
• Lead staff supervision, schedules, and meetings.
• Develop Resident Advisors and ensure policy adherence.
• Coordinate onboarding and staff development.
