Northwestern Medicine Catherine Gratz Griffin Lake Forest Hospital in Grayslake is seeking a Registered Sleep Technologist for a full-time overnight role. The 36-hour workweek consists of three 12-hour shifts from 6pm to 6:30am, with one weekend shift per week.

Responsibilities include performing polysomnograms, CPAP/Bi-PAP titrations, scoring sleep records, and collaborating with medical staff. Requires RPSGT or RRT certification and BLS CPR, with at least 12 months of sleep tech experience.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• BLS CPR certification.
• Certification by Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists (RPSGT) or as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.

Responsabilidades

• Completes all required paperwork before study is performed and documents results.
• Prepare equipment for monitoring and set up EEG montage.
• Provide CPAP training and patient education materials.
• Place recording devices and ensure correct electrode placement.
• Score sleep records according to department guidelines.
• Maintain equipment and participate in education programs.
• Train new Sleep Technicians and student preceptors.
• Ensure compliance with ethics and regulatory standards.
