Job summary

Qualifications

• Certification required by Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists.
• BLS CPR certification is a must.
• Minimum of 12 months prior sleep tech experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for overnight polysomnograms.
• Perform CPAP and Bi-PAP titrations.
• Record study observations and enter patient information.

Skills

Certification by Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists, RPSGT

BLS CPR certified

Knowledge of the International 10-20 system of electrode placement

Familiarity with personal computers

Sleep tech experience

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Training program in electroneuro diagnostics

Bachelor’s Degree or additional training in electroneuro diagnostics
