Job summary

BetterNight is seeking a qualified RPSGT/Sleep Technician to support overnight sleep studies across our Lincoln, RI; Dartmouth, MA; and Leominster, MA clinics. The role involves patient education, sensor application, data acquisition, and contributing to accurate sleep stage scoring and reporting.

Responsibilities include supervising HSAT testing when needed, ensuring patient safety, and delivering a first-class patient experience from sleep study setup through post-study procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (if RRT, RI license required; MA license a strong plus).
• Current CPR (in-person BLS) certificate.
• Ability to work overnight.
• Availability to work in other locations as business needs dictate is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for sleep studies by reviewing patient history and following center protocols.
• Greet patients, verify identity, obtain informed consent for sleep studies.
• Explain procedures and educate patients for in-center or HSAT.
• Calibrate and adjust sleep study equipment for testing.
• Apply electrodes and sensors per standards and protocols.
• Conduct sleep studies including MSLT, MWT, PAP titration and oxygen titration.
