Job summary

BetterNight is seeking a Registered Polysomnography Technologist to join our Sleep Medicine team. You will prepare and conduct sleep studies, verify orders, educate patients, and ensure proper equipment setup and calibration, in-center or through HSAT.

This full-time overnight role requires RPSGT or RRT with RI license (MA a strong plus), CPR/BLS, and willingness to work at Lincoln, RI; Dartmouth, MA; or Leominster, MA clinics.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Polysomnography Technologist (RPSGT) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with RI/MA license; SDS certification preferred.
• Current CPR (in-person BLS) certification.
• Ability to work overnight.
• Willingness to work at other locations as business needs dictate.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and conduct sleep studies per established protocols.
• Apply electrodes and sensors; calibrate equipment.
• Monitor real-time data quality and correct artifacts.
• Score sleep/wake stages and events per AASM standards.
• Generate preliminary reports from sleep data.
• Ensure patient safety and provide age-appropriate care.
