Job summary

Epoch Sleep Centers is seeking a dedicated RPSGT/Sleep Technician to join our sleep medicine team. The role covers overnight studies, patient education, and equipment setup, on-site at one of our Massachusetts or Rhode Island clinics.

The candidate will review orders, apply sensors, assist with HSAT, and help score studies under AASM standards, delivering a first-class patient experience across all ages.

Qualifications

• Must be RPSGT or RRT with RI/MA license; SDS certification preferred.
• Current CPR (in-person BLS) certificate.
• Ability to work overnight.
• Willingness to work at multiple locations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for sleep studies by reviewing patient history and following established protocols.
• Greet patients, verify identity, collect documents, and obtain informed consent.
• Apply electrodes and sensors per published standards and protocols.
• Perform PAP interface fitting and patient desensitization procedures.
• Conduct sleep studies including MSLT, MWT, parasomnia studies, PAP titration, and oxygen titration.
• Document sleep stages, events, and changes to support scoring and interpretation.
• Assist in scoring sleep/wake stages and clinical events per AASM standards.
• Generate preliminary reports by tabulating and summarizing sleep data.
