Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a respected hospital in Helena, MT to recruit a Polysomnographic Technician – Sleep Lab for overnight shifts. Three 12-hour night shifts per week (0.9 FTE) offer a stable schedule and opportunities to grow in sleep medicine and EEG monitoring.

Responsibilities include conducting overnight sleep studies, monitoring data, analyzing results, adjusting respiratory support devices, and educating patients while collaborating with physicians.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of sleep lab or respiratory therapy experience preferred.
• Training in sleep laboratory technology or related healthcare discipline required.
• CPR certification required.
• RPSGT credential required or actively enrolled in approved pathway (A-STEP, END, etc).
• ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct overnight polysomnographic studies with precision and attention to detail.
• Monitor and collect high-quality diagnostic data.
• Analyze sleep study results to support diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Adjust and manage respiratory support devices for sleep-related disorders.
• Provide compassionate patient care and education during overnight testing.
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to ensure outcomes.
• Perform EEGs in conjunction with sleep studies when needed.
