Job summary

Children's Hospital Colorado in Denver's Uptown Sleep Lab is seeking a Sleep Technician II to perform polysomnographic testing and analysis, supporting sleep clinicians in diagnosing sleep disorders. This role includes 36 hours/week on a 3x12 hour overnight shift, with full benefits under 0.90 FTE.

Responsibilities include patient education, equipment setup, monitoring during sleep studies, and post-care follow-up.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• One year of experience performing sleep disorders testing and therapeutic intervention.
• BLS certification.
• License: RPSGT or RRT.

Responsibilities

• Educates and interacts with patients and families during care; completes pre-test paperwork.
• Sets up and calibrates monitoring equipment; ensures data is recorded during sleep study.
• Performs patient setup and monitors physiological responses during testing.
• Evaluates changes in patient condition and notifies physicians as needed.
• Initiates and titrates therapy (oxygen and nasal CPAP) per physician orders.
