Job summary

The Staff Pad is partnering with a hospital in Helena, MT to recruit a Polysomnographic Technician for overnight sleep lab coverage. You'll conduct overnight sleep studies, monitor data, and collaborate with physicians to support accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

This role involves adjusting respiratory support devices, delivering compassionate patient care, and advancing skills in sleep medicine and EEG monitoring with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of sleep lab and/or respiratory therapy clinical experience preferred
• Training or experience in sleep laboratory technology, respiratory therapy, or a related healthcare discipline

Responsibilities

• Conduct overnight polysomnographic (sleep) studies with precision and attention to detail
• Monitor and collect high-quality, artifact-free diagnostic data
• Analyze sleep study results to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
• Adjust and manage respiratory support devices for patients with suspected sleep-related breathing disorders
• Provide compassionate patient care and education throughout overnight testing
• Collaborate with physicians and clinical teams to ensure exceptional outcomes
• Perform EEGs in conjunction with sleep studies when needed

As a Polysomnographic Technician, you’ll workalongside physicians and clinical specialists to deliver high-quality sleepdiagnostics and overnight care for patients experiencing sleep-relateddisorders.

What You’ll Do

What We’re Looking For

Education & Experience

Certifications

• CPR certification required
• ACLS preferred
• RPSGT credential required, orcandidates must be actively enrolled in or have successfully completed oneof the following approved pathways:

• Respiratory Therapy add-on trackfor Sleep Technology
