Job summary

Bronson Sleep Health Lab is hiring a Polysomnographic Technologist for the overnight shift from 7 PM to 7 AM in Portage, MI. The role supports comprehensive diagnostic sleep studies under supervision and may supervise other staff.

Qualifications include an associate degree in Polysomnography or related field, or minimum six months of patient care; BRPT/ABSM NBRC credentials and BLS are required. A sign-on/retention bonus is offered to external candidates.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Polysomnography, Respiratory Care, or related allied health field required or strongly preferred; or At least six (6) months of direct patient care experience; or successful completion in a program accredited by the CAAHEP or CoARC.

Responsibilities

• Collect, analyze and integrate patient information for sleep testing per physician orders and lab protocols.
• Independently score sleep/wake stages and clinical events using AASM standards.
• Prepare patients and equipment for sleep studies, calibrate devices and ensure signal integrity.
• Perform sleep study procedures (MSLT, MWT, PAP titration, oxygen studies) as allowed by policy.
• Provide supervision or mentoring to staff and trainees as needed.
• Participate in quality assurance, regulatory preparation and infection control practices.
