Job summary

Heart of the Rockies Regional Medical Center is seeking a Sleep Technologist to conduct and monitor overnight sleep studies, ensuring accurate data collection and exceptional patient care. This role works 36 hours per week in a two-bed sleep lab with Nox software systems, and may involve home studies.

Responsibilities include scoring, PAP therapy and oxygen titration, and patient education in a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Certification as a Polysomnographic Technician or equivalent.
• Strong technical skills and attention to detail in monitoring and scoring sleep studies.
• Excellent communication skills to educate patients and collaborate with the healthcare team.
• Current CPR/BCLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Collect and analyze patient data to tailor testing protocols.
• Perform and monitor sleep studies, ensuring high-quality data acquisition.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, such as PAP therapy and oxygen titration.
• Score sleep/wake stages and clinical events to generate precise reports.
• Provide patient education and support for a comfortable testing experience.
