Job summary

Samaritan Health Services Sleep Center seeks a qualified Sleep Technician to perform patient set-ups for overnight sleep testing and to record polysomnographic (PSG) and video sleep activity for diagnostic evaluation.

You will communicate with the Sleep Lab Section leader/supervisor and administer sleep medications per policy, ensuring patient safety and accurate data collection in a clinical setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an AMA approved college program or one year experience in polysomnography, neurodiagnostics or respiratory therapy required.
• Current unencumbered Oregon Polysomnographic Technologist (PSGT) License required.
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) through the BRPT required.
• Healthcare Provider BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient set-ups for overnight sleep testing and record overnight PSG and video recordings for diagnostic evaluation.
• Communicate and coordinate activities with Sleep Lab Section leader/supervisor.
• Administer sleep medications per policy.
