Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking an Overnight Sleep Technologist for overnight sleep testing procedures in New Jersey. Performs PSG studies, MSLT, CPAP/BiPAP titrations, and related duties while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

This per diem night shift (7pm–7am) requires NJ registration and a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist credential; experience in nocturnal sleep studies is a plus. Overnight shift differential applies and a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (Required)
• New Jersey License is REQUIRED
• High School diploma or equivalent with some post-secondary or college education in a science or health-related area.
• Experience preferred in nocturnal sleep studies but not required; experience in a patient care job (RN, Respiratory Care Practitioner, etc.) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Score the polysomnogram and generate report summarizing sleep/wake periods, REM episodes, arousal analysis, EEG phenomena, cardiac events, respiratory events, limb movements, and other physiological events.
