Job summary

Denver Rescue Mission seeks an overnight Community Life Coordinator to manage daily operations, safety, and guest services within the shelter environment. You will oversee check-in, program activities, and administrative tasks while maintaining a welcoming, dignified atmosphere for participants and volunteers.

Responsibilities include front-line guest services, intake support, documentation, and cross-department coordination to ensure services run smoothly.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Strong communication written and verbal; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Ensure facility safety and cleanliness during shifts.
• Greet participants, staff, visitors and donors and check in accordingly.
• Support intake processes and coordinate with departments for program operations.
• Maintain inventory and logs for supplies and activities.
• Respond to emergencies and contact first responders when necessary.
• Collaborate with Kitchen, Maintenance, IT and Operations to meet daily needs.
• Protect participant privacy and uphold safety policies at all times.
