Job summary

Denver Rescue Mission is seeking a Community Life Coordinator – Recovery to support the recovery team, oversee safety and participant services, and assist with intake, record management, and program coordination. The role ensures a welcoming, safe environment for participants, visitors, staff, and volunteers while reflecting the Mission’s Christian ethos.

Responsibilities include coordination with Kitchen, Maintenance, IT, and Operations, maintaining confidentiality, and supporting daily

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to stay calm and professional in stressful situations.
• Proven organizational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and database systems is preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the security and safety of the facility, participants, staff, and visitors during assigned shifts.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and ensure hazards are addressed.
• Conduct intake support and assist with participant check‑in and record management.
• Coordinate with multiple departments to support daily operations.
• Screen and document admissions and ensure confidentiality and trauma‑informed practices.
• Provide front‑line services with dignity and respect and foster recovery.
• Assist with scheduling and staffing coverage as needed.
