Job summary

Merrill Gardens is seeking a Senior Living Caregiver to support residents with daily living activities at our Eugene community. You will assist with dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care while ensuring dignity and personalized attention.

Responsibilities include medication management where permitted and daily progress reporting to track resident wellbeing. Prior CNA credentials and a caring, reliable demeanour are essential.

Qualifications

• Current caregiver training/certification as specified by state agency or the ability to obtain.
• CNA license or two years previous experience as a caregiver
• Ability to obtain first aid/CPR certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including dressing, bathing, meals, laundry and general care.
• Manage medication as allowed by the state and completing daily progress reports of services provided.
• Completes progress reports for Assisted Living & Garden House residents daily or more often if needed.
