Job summary

Gemstone Senior Living Communities is seeking an Overnight Resident Assistant in Marble Falls, TX. You will provide compassionate personal care, assist with ADLs, dining, housekeeping, and documentation while ensuring residents’ independence and safety.

Responsibilities include medication reminders, rounds for hazard checks, and timely communication with the Wellness Director. The role requires physical stamina, reliability, and a resident-first approach in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Six months of work experience in a senior living setting preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age; HS Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively with Residents and families.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including wardrobe, personal hygiene, ambulation, and transfers with standby assist.
• Assist with housekeeping, laundry, mail delivery, and use of telephone.
• Observe and report changes to Wellness Director.
• Conduct rounds to monitor hazards or incidents.
• Assist with medication reminders or cueing.
• Assist in dining, including setting tables, escorting to dining room, serving, and cleanup.
• Complete required documentation prior to end of shift.
• Maintain Wellness Center and Breakroom neat and orderly.
• Report maintenance issues to Executive Director or Wellness Director.
• Be punctual and avoid overtime without approval.
