Job summary

Oakmont Management Group is seeking a Care Provider (AL & MC) in California. Shift: Tue–Sat 10:30PM–6:30AM. Pay: $18.00 per hour. The role focuses on personal assistance to residents to enhance independence and quality of life, aligned with our mission and values.

Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, responding to resident needs, and maintaining safety. We emphasize teamwork and compassionate care for residents, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not necessary; we will train the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong desire to work with the elderly and care for their needs.
• Possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.
• Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests.
• Vaccination and PPE requirements may be implemented per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in Activities of Daily Living (ADL) as per the care plan (eating, bathing, dressing, toileting, transferring, continence).
• Respond promptly to residents' needs while maintaining dignity and safety.
• Report observed changes in condition to a supervisor immediately.
• Maintain a safe environment following safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with colleagues.
