Job summary

Navion Senior Solutions is seeking a dedicated Resident Care Aide to provide compassionate, hands-on support to residents on the 3rd shift. You will assist with daily living activities, meals, and mobility while building trusted relationships in a home-like setting.

Ideal candidates are patient, have a genuine heart for helping seniors, and can work collaboratively in a team. Prior experience with seniors is preferred and state regulations may influence requirements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required per state regulations.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Experience with seniors preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents and families.
• Friendly, patient and compassionate.
• Team-oriented and flexible in a resident-centered environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, positioning, transfer and mobility.
• Prepare residents for meals, snacks and activities.
• Assist residents in dining room including serving meals and clearing tables.
• Respond to resident emergency call system.
• Observe, document and report changes to residents’ condition to the Resident Care Coordinator.
• Communicate with residents and family members in a polite, professional manner.
• Maintain required resident care documentation per State regulations and Navion policies.
• Transport residents when required.
