Job summary

Senior Resource Group is seeking an overnight caregiver to assist residents with daily living activities in a supportive environment. You will help with personal care, mobility, meals, and housekeeping while promoting a safe, respectful atmosphere.

The role requires reliability, the ability to work night shifts, and a CNA or caregiver background with First Aid/ CPR certification. Training is provided; benefits include PTO and retirement planning options.

Qualifications

• Previous experience is required, preferably with residents who have dementia.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• First Aid Certification is required, or to be completed within first 30 days of employment.
• Must be reliable and able to stay alert during overnight hours.
• Knowledge of resident care basics and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident assistance with activities of daily living; encourage self care where possible.
• Maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment; perform daily housekeeping and laundering tasks.
• Assist with meals and post-meal cleanup; customize services to resident needs.
• Deliver services per the resident’s care plan; monitor health needs and assist with medications as delegated by the LPN/LVN.
• Support programming activities and participate in team meetings.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct; complete end-of-shift reports.
