Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Shift Supervisor for the Westerville, OH area to oversee overnight security staff and ensure high-quality service delivery. The role requires collaboration with site supervision and account/field operations management, along with coaching and enforcing discipline within approved guidelines.

Candidates must have 1+ year security experience, strong communication skills, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years verifiable experience
• Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to prepare reports and logs in neat handwriting
• Read and understand operating procedures and instructions
• Valid Driver's License and safe driving record for driving positions
• Background check and post-offer drug/alcohol test may be required
• Intermediate computer skills to use wireless technology at client sites
• Ability to handle both common and crisis situations calmly and efficiently
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality security services on the overnight shift
• Act as liaison between site supervisor, Account Manager/Field Operations Manager and security officers
• Provide coaching, recognition and discipline within empowerment range
• Maintain clear written reports and logs and ensure client site operations
