Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Security Officer to help keep our community safe. You will patrol buildings and grounds, respond to alarms, document incidents, and assist with emergency procedures to protect residents, guests, and staff.

Ideal candidates hold a HS diploma or GED, have 2+ years of related security experience, and demonstrate clear written and verbal communication. A valid driver’s license may be required for some locations, and we offer strong benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED completed.
• 2+ years related security experience preferred.
• Strong judgment and decision-making skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Basic computer proficiency and valid driver’s license (if required).

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols of buildings, grounds, and parking areas.
• Inspect doors, windows, gates, and access points.
• Respond to alarms, security calls, and on-site emergencies.
• Investigate and document incidents or suspicious activity.
• Complete daily Security Logs and incident reports.
• Monitor fire safety, hazards, and unsecured areas.
• Assist with emergency response procedures.
• Escort residents and team members after hours.
• Support OSHA and infection control compliance.
• Secure and unlock areas per policy.
