Job summary

Armorous in California is seeking a Security Officer for a winery production facility to safeguard premises, deter unlawful activity, and ensure safety. Two officers per shift rotate responsibilities between gate access control and camera monitoring, with overnight hours and 16 hours per week plus potential additional shifts.

The role requires BSIS Guard Card, valid driver’s license, and the ability to work Friday through Tuesday 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Qualifications

• BSIS Guard Card active and BSIS compliance current.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Willing to work Friday–Tuesday 11:00 PM–7:00 AM.
• Experience with graveyard shifts and security patrols.
• Strong customer service and professional demeanor.
• Able to stand/walk up to 60 min and up to 6 hours per shift.
• Ability to bend, reach, climb stairs and transport up to 25 pounds.
• Gate access control and camera monitoring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety.
• Respond swiftly to incidents and provide support in emergency situations.
• Document daily activity, incidents, and observations accurately in reports.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding security updates and concerns.
• Control gate access, verifying and admitting only authorized individuals and vehicles.
• Monitor camera systems covering the local site and other facilities; review motion-activated alerts.
