Job summary

AEGIS Security & Investigations is hiring experienced unarmed security officers for a high-end client site in California. The role focuses on crime prevention, customer service, and maintaining a safe environment for clients and guests.

Overnight shifts are required, with 11pm–7am coverage and weekends. Security Officers may advance to armed assignments with BSIS Firearms Permit when available and approved.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years experience in security, military, or law enforcement.
• Experience with crime prevention and visitor safety is a plus.
• Ability to perform access control and monitor entrances.

Responsibilities

• Patrol the work site on foot to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of all entry points.
• Write reports of daily activities and irregularities.
• Perform access control by monitoring entrances and departures of people.
• Guard against theft and maintain the security of the premises.
• Investigate disturbances and respond to alarms.
