Job summary

Armorous is seeking a Security Officer for large corporate property in Oakland, CA. You will patrol designated areas, deter crime, and respond to incidents while maintaining a professional presence to protect people and assets.

Required: BSIS Guard Card, 8-hour initial training, 32-hour CE certificates, valid driver’s license, and experience with graveyard shifts. We offer weekly direct deposit, medical/dental/vision, life insurance, paid time off, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• BSIS Guard Card is required.
• 8-Hour Initial Training Certificate is required.
• 32-Hour Continuing Education Certificates are required.
• Valid Driver's License and ability to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety.
• Respond swiftly to incidents and provide support in emergency situations.
• Document daily activity, incidents, and observations accurately in reports.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding security updates and concerns.
