Job summary

Armorous is seeking a Security Officer for our winery production facility in Geyserville, CA. This full-time, unarmed position involves patrols, access control, and incident reporting to safeguard the site and personnel.

The role requires vigilance, strong decision-making, good communication, and the ability to work overnight shifts. Previous security or access-control experience is preferred. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid BSIS Guard Card is required.
• Current BSIS compliance including 8‑hour Initial Training and 32‑hour CE certificates.
• Strong customer service skills and professional demeanor.
• Physical and stamina requirements: stand/walk up to six hours per shift, and other listed demands.
• Experience in access control or camera monitoring preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine patrols to monitor and secure designated locations.
• Identify and report suspicious activity, safety hazards, and unauthorized access.
• Maintain a visible presence to deter criminal activity and ensure public safety.
• Respond to incidents and provide support in emergencies.
• Document daily activity, incidents, and observations in reports.
• Monitor camera systems and review motion-activated alerts when assigned.
