Job summary

Allied Universal in Austin, TX is seeking a Security Officer Part Time Unarmed Overnight. You will patrol, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service to employees and visitors at a technology site.

The role runs overnights with a schedule that includes Friday and Saturday night shifts. A high school diploma is required, along with a background check and, where applicable, a drug screen and licensing considerations. This is a part-time, on-site opportunity with growth and benefits.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology manufacturing location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations calmly and document observations.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to deter unwanted activity.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, reporting unusual conditions per site policy.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.
