Job summary

The Gatesworth is seeking a Full-Time Overnight Security Officer to protect residents, guests and staff at our award-winning, resort-style senior living community in St. Louis.

You will patrol building and campus, monitor access points, respond to emergencies, operate security systems and manage overnight packages while maintaining a calm, professional presence. Qualified candidates will have 2+ years in security and customer service, a St.

Qualifications

• Must hold St. Louis County Security License or be willing to obtain upon hire.
• Minimum 2 years security experience.
• Minimum 2 years customer service experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine security rounds throughout the building and campus.
• Monitor entrances and greet residents, staff, and visitors professionally.
• Respond quickly to emergencies and security alerts.
• Operate access control, alarm panels, surveillance systems, and other security equipment.
• Manage package deliveries and track items overnight.
• Maintain a calm and reassuring presence during all interactions.

The Gatesworth, St. Louis' premier resort-style independent senior living community, is seeking a Full-Time Overnight Security Officer to help ensure the safety and peace of mind of our residents, guests, and staff.

Schedule:

• Overnight shift: Full-time, Friday through Tuesday (12:00 AM - 8:00 AM)

Pay: $20.00/hour

What You'll Do:

• Perform routine security rounds throughout the building and campus.

• Monitor entrances and greet all residents, employees, and visitors in a professional manner.

• Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies and security alerts.

• Operate access control systems, alarm panels, surveillance systems, and other security equipment.

• Manage package deliveries and track incoming items during overnight shifts.

• Maintain a calm and reassuring presence during all interactions.

Qualifications:

• St. Louis County Security License (must be willing to obtain upon hire)

• 2+ years of security experience.

• 2+ years of customer service experience.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to remain calm under pressure.

• Ability to walk and stand for extended periods.

• Reliable transportation is a must.
