Job summary

F&S Fresh Foods is seeking a Sanitation Manager for the Riverside facility to oversee 3rd shift cleaning, sanitation, and release to production. The role requires hands-on leadership of an overnight team and strong knowledge of pathogens and food safety practices in a ready-to-eat environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in food/bev manufacturing, HACCP cert preferred, and excellent communication. Bilingual English/Spanish a plus; background in HACCP/SOP compliance is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years in food/bev manufacturing or warehouse.
• Lead teams across a night shift with strong communication.
• HACCP certification preferred; food handling/culinary cert a plus.
• Strong knowledge of pathogens and contamination risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the 3rd shift sanitation team nightly.
• Ensure complete cleaning and sanitation before release to production.
• Identify contamination risks and ensure effective cleaning.
• Coach and develop overnight staff; reinforce safety culture.
• Maintain HACCP/SOP compliance and document activities.
• Manage safe use and disposal of sanitation chemicals.
• Coordinate with QA Manager on issues and reporting.
