Job summary

Software Placement Group seeks an Overnight RN Supervisor (Free-Floating) in Woodbury, CT to oversee overnight clinical and facility operations. This permanent role provides clinical oversight, triage support, and administrative supervision across nursing units during the 11:00 PM–7:00 AM shift.

The role requires CT RN licensure, 2–3 years in SNF/LTC, strong clinical judgment, and EMR experience (PointClickCare).

Qualifications

• Current, active, and unrestricted RN license in Connecticut.
• 2–3 years of nursing experience in SNF/LTC/sub-acute rehab.
• Strong critical thinking and independent decision-making for night-shift operations.
• Experience using EMR systems for clinical documentation (PointClickCare).

Responsibilities

• Serve as the free-floating clinical supervisor 11pm–7am across all units.
• Act as primary clinical resource for night shift staff; make decisive evaluations during incidents.
• Conduct rounds to monitor nocturnal care, infection control, med administration, and safety.
• Manage late-night admissions/transfers and morning shift handoffs.
• Guide overnight RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, fostering a supportive night shift environment.
• Ensure timely EMR documentation compliant with Connecticut DPH and CMS regulations.
