Job summary

Bayview Rehab is seeking a dedicated RN Supervisor for a full-time night shift from 11 pm to 7 am in Rhode Island. The role focuses on clinical leadership, regulatory compliance, and oversight of nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality resident care.

This position underscores our commitment to compassionate care and strong interdepartmental collaboration. Qualified candidates will hold a RI active RN license (or multi-state) and BLS CPR certification, with at least 2 years of nursing

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in RI or a multi-state license.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience.
• No supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with staff, residents, families and regulators.
• Strong knowledge of nursing practices, regulations and standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families about changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and leadership.
