Job summary

Bayview Rehabilitation at Scalabrini is seeking a Weekend RN Supervisor to lead nursing care on Saturdays and Sundays, 7 am–7 pm. The role emphasizes clinical leadership, regulatory compliance, and team guidance in a 120-bed sub-acute/long-term care setting.

Qualified candidates hold an active Rhode Island RN license and BLS CPR, with at least 2 years of nursing experience. Competitive weekend schedule includes pay differential and full benefits.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in Rhode Island.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents, families, staff and regulatory agencies.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork, communication, and professional leadership.
