Job summary

The Pines at Placerville Healthcare Center is seeking a Part-Time NOC Shift Registered Nurse (RN) to lead the overnight nursing team and provide direct resident care. You will supervise RNs, LVNs, CNAs, and collaborate with physicians to respond to changes in condition while ensuring safe, compassionate, high‑quality care.

The ideal candidate has California RN licensure, CPR certification, and strong clinical judgment, with a commitment to resident well‑being and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current, active, and unrestricted California RN license.
• Current CPR certification.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical decision‑making skills.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, procedures, and regulations applicable to skilled nursing/long‑term care.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and protect resident information.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing team and coordinate resident care during the overnight shift.
• Provide guidance, support, and direction to nursing staff.
• Make sound independent clinical decisions and respond to changing resident conditions.
• Conduct rounds and monitor residents' physical, emotional, and clinical status.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation.
• Perform vital signs and assessments as ordered and within scope of practice.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges as needed.
• Promote resident dignity, safety, and quality of life.
