Responsibilities include coordinating rotations across store areas, ensuring training completion, and fostering a safe, respectful work environment in line with Meijer standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years of related retail experience.
• One year of management experience.
• Rotational assignments in different store areas are helpful.
• Strong communication with team members and clear direction.
• Ability to resolve conflicts and address root causes.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to analyze financial and statistical information for decisions.
• Experience in suggestive selling and leading safety practices.
• Proven mentorship of team members and completion of certifications.

Responsibilities

• Staffing, selection and hiring to meet staffing needs.
• Promotes succession planning with career paths and development needs.
• Disciplinary actions documentation and discharge recommendations.
• Responsible for P&L, achieving sales and controlling shrink.
• Models exceptional, fast and friendly customer service.
• Mentors and coaches team to exceed goals and maintain Meijer standards.
• Ensures team is trained in all aspects of their jobs.
• Spends time in-store communicating with customers and teammates.
