Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health’s Hart House is a 24-hour structured residential recovery home for pregnant and/or parenting women recovering from drug and/or alcohol addiction. The Recovery Specialist works 24 hours/week, 11:30pm–8am, providing a positive presence and ensuring safety in a nurturing environment.

Essential duties include client supervision, well-being checks, admissions screenings, and accurate documentation. A high school diploma or GED is required; MA driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience with substance use population preferred.
• Valid MA driver's license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and structure of program milieu by monitoring client activities.
• Observe and supervise clients and unit; conduct 30-minute well-being checks.
• Conduct telephone admission screenings and other admissions duties.
• Search client belongings on admission and at discharge as directed by supervisor.
• Complete checklists, shift documentation and records promptly per policies.
