Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health Behavioral Services seeks a Recovery Specialist for the 3rd shift at The Hart House, a 24-hour residential program for pregnant and/or parenting women in recovery. You will help maintain a safe, structured milieu and perform admissions-related tasks, screenings and daily documentation, contributing to the clients' sobriety and parenting goals.

The role requires a GED or high school diploma, preferred experience with substance use populations, and a MA driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with substance use population preferred.
• Valid MA Driver’s License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety and structure of the program milieu by monitoring client activities.
• Observe and supervise clients and unit; conduct 30-minute well-being checks.
• Conduct telephone admission screenings and other admission duties.
• Search client belongings on admission and discharge as directed by supervisor.
• Complete checklists, shift documentation and record keeping promptly per policies.
