Hart House is a long-term residential recovery home providing a 24-hour structured rehabilitative environment for pregnant and/or parenting women recovering from drug and/or alcohol addiction. The program aims to provide women with the skills necessary to maintain their sobriety and the education, skills, and guidance to be effective, nurturing parents. Services include individual, family, and group therapy, parenting education, and more. The Recovery Specialist position is a great opportunity for someone who seeks to be a positive presence in the lives of those who are struggling with addiction.

Job Responsibilities:

• Providing support to women & families throughout the stages of their recovery.
• Collaborating with the Clinical Supervisor and colleagues to ensure client progress.
• Searching client belongings on admission and at discharge, or as directed by supervisor.
• Completing checklists, shift documentation, and record keeping in a timely manner according to agency policies.
• Observing and supervising buildings and grounds.
• Providing transportation to families as necessary.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience working with substance use populations is preferred.
• Valid MA Driver’s License in good standing is preferred.
