Job summary

Vista Prairie at Fieldcrest in Sheldon, IA is seeking a Resident Assistant for overnight shifts. Earn $19.19–$22.25/hour, with a $1,000 sign-on bonus for team members working 40+ hours per pay period on NOC shift.

This role focuses on safety, comfort, and compassionate care for residents through the night. As part of an assisted living and memory care community, you’ll perform personal care, assist with mobility and transfers, and document care plans.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable transportation to and from the community.

Responsibilities

• Help residents with personal care: bathing, dressing, grooming, hygiene
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning
• Check in on residents throughout the night and respond to call lights
• Complete overnight rounds and document care per each resident's service plan
• Create a calm, reassuring presence for residents who wake confused or anxious
• Once trained and certified, administer medications following physician orders and Iowa regulations
