Job summary

Vista Prairie at Fieldcrest in Sheldon, IA is seeking a Resident Assistant for the morning shift to help residents start their day with care and dignity. You will be part of the morning team ensuring comfort, safety and personal attention.

The role involves assisting with daily living activities, mobility support, and following care plans under state guidelines. A high school diploma or GED is required, with preference for on-site AM shift experience.

$19.19–$22.25/hour, Morning shift, 6 AM–2:30 PM, part-time. Help residents at Vista Prairie at Fieldcrest start their day with the care and dignity they deserve.

Vista Prairie at Fieldcrest is an assisted living and memory care community in Sheldon, Iowa. As a Resident Assistant, you'll be part of the morning team that helps residents get their day started comfortable, safe, and cared for.

What You'll Do

• Help residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, and other personal care
• Assist with mobility and safe transfers
• Administer medications as directed, following state and facility guidelines
• Check in with residents throughout the morning and flag any changes in health or mood to the care team
• Create real moments of connection, not just checked-off tasks

What You'll Need

Required:

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal care instructions

Preferred:

• One year of experience in assisted living or another health care setting

Pay and Benefits

• $19.19–$22.25/hour, based on experience
• $500 sign-on bonus for AM shift. Must be scheduled40+ hours per pay period
