Job summary

The Clare in Chicago's Gold Coast is seeking an Overnight RN to join our Skilled Nursing Care Unit. This full-time role features a block schedule from 6:30pm to 7am, 3 days per week with rotating weekend shifts and a competitive hourly wage.

The RN will provide direct care, supervise CNAs, manage admissions/transfers/discharges, administer medications, and uphold federal, state, and local standards while delivering compassionate, high-quality care to residents.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license valid in Illinois.
• CPR certification.
• 2+ years of clinical experience preferred.
• One-year long term care preferred.
• Weekend availability REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care to the residents and supervises and coordinates the activities performed by the CNAs in order to ensure a high degree of quality care is maintained.
• Responsible for admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents.
• Administers medications and treatments and maintains proper charting for the unit all in accordance with federal, state and local standards and regulations and department policies and procedures.
• Maintains a high standard of resident care.
• Responds immediately to all crisis and/or calls for assistance.
• Assists in maintaining the facility’s and Nursing Service’s philosophy through quality nursing care.
