Job summary

Qualifications

• Valid State RN license required.
• BLS certification required at hire; ACLS within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
• Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
• Document timely and accurately using hospital systems.
• Interpret labs and telemetry data to support patient care.
• Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed correctly.
• Respond to rapid responses and code events as needed.
• Educate and counsel patients and families.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
