Job summary

The Clare, located in Chicago's Gold Coast, is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for our Skilled Nursing Care Unit. You will provide direct patient care, supervise CNAs, and ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, in a luxury continuing care community.

Requires Illinois RN license and CPR, with 2+ years of clinical experience; weekend availability is required. Eligible employees receive health/dental/vision insurance, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and more.

Qualifications

• Current nursing license valid in Illinois.
• CPR certification.
• Greater than 2 years clinical experience preferred.
• One-year long term care preferred.
• Weekend availability REQUIRED.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct nursing care to the residents and supervises and coordinates the activities performed by the CNAs in order to ensure a high degree of quality care.
• Responsible for admissions, transfers, and discharges of residents.
• Administers medications and treatments and maintains proper charting for the unit all in accordance with federal, state and local standards and regulations and department policies and procedures.
• Maintains a high standard of resident care.
• Responds immediately to all crisis and/or calls for assistance.
• Assists in maintaining the facility’s and Nursing Service’s philosophy through quality nursing care.

Block Schedule: 6:30pm to 7am, 3 days per week, rotating weekend schedule

Salary: $42.00-$43.00 per hour, plus overnight shift differential

Here are a few of the daily responsibilities of an RN:
