Job summary

Gosnold, Inc. is a nationally accredited non-profit leader in prevention, treatment and recovery of mental health and substance use disorders. The Recovery Aide will liaise with nursing and counseling staff and support patients and families to promote wellness and recovery.

The role requires experience or education in addiction, with the ability to cover multiple shifts including nights. Benefits include health insurance, paid time off, and a 403b plan, among others.

Qualifications

• Computer literacy and proficiency with current office applications.
• Knowledge of sanitation, cleanliness, safety, and facility upkeep.
• 1–3 years of customer service experience; able to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
• Experience and comfortability speaking in front of larger groups.

Responsibilities

• Monitor high-risk patients and support engagement to reduce recovery-interfering behaviors.
• Lead specialty groups and document attendance in EMR.
• Track program evaluations and report data to leadership.
• Relate and communicate effectively with patients in a treatment setting.
• Participate in recovery-oriented social activities and monitor activity per program guidelines.
• Document observations in patient records and logs.
