Job summary

Lancesoft is seeking a Quality Technician on site in Charlotte, NC for a 12+ month assignment. The role leads the floor quality team during night shifts (Friday to Sunday, 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM) and ensures quality coverage, audits, containment, and timely escalation of issues to prevent production impact.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in manufacturing quality control or related setting.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing production demands.
• Lift and move up to 35 lbs and stand/walk for most of the workday.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily floor-level leadership and support to Quality Associates across manufacturing operations.
• Maintain presence on the production floor, monitor audit activity, production flow, quality concerns, and staffing.
• Coordinate and redistribute Quality resources based on demand and risks.
• Assist in-process and final quality audits, reinspection, and containment activities.
• Verify inspection requirements are followed and documentation is accurate.
• Coach team members to improve inspection effectiveness and performance.
• Identify recurring defects and escalate to Quality leadership.
• Support corrective actions, containment, and quality hold requirements.
• Collaborate with Production and Quality Engineering to resolve issues.
• Document Quality activities and shift handoffs accurately.
