Job summary

Express Employment Professionals in Vale, OR seeks a Quality Control Technician to evaluate diatomaceous earth and support quality assurance, process control, and product development. You will perform QC testing, record results, and help maintain lab equipment to meet company standards.

The role offers a 12-hour overnight shift with 4 days on / 4 days off, starting pay $20.50/hour plus a $2,500 bonus when hired as full-time, with benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 6 months of related QC experience or training.
• Experience with laboratory testing and QC procedures is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality control testing and Dry Lab procedures.
• Record results in IFS and Excel.
• Communicate results with kiln operator, shift supervisor, production manager, and quality manager.
• Calibrate and maintain QC laboratory equipment.
• Follow testing procedures, reporting requirements, and non-conforming product protocols.
• Assist with Wet/Dry Lab operations, warehouse cleanup, and data entry.
