Job summary

ChemTreat, a Veralto company, is the nation’s largest and fastest-growing specialty chemical company dedicated to industrial water treatment. The QC Technician II role is on-site in Ashland, VA, reporting to the Quality Control Manager and performing analytical testing while managing equipment maintenance and records.

The job supports the Quality department with a standard 1pm-9pm shift, ensuring accurate testing, documentation, and compliance. Eligible for bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor of Science in chemistry or physical science preferred.
• 2-4 years’ experience with laboratory techniques and equipment.
• Strong knowledge of computers.

Responsibilities

• Maintains calibration, standardization, and inventory of chemicals and lab equipment.
• Performs bulk/raw material and finished product testing and documentation.
• Manages non-conforming material notifications and evaluations.
• Generates certificates of analysis for all plants.
• Tests and adjusts waste tank materials.
• Keeps sample logs and distributes results.
• Files and resolves vendor discrepancies.
