Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking an Assistant Operations Manager in Austin, TX to coordinate project activities, scheduling, cost accounting, and documentation. You will work with Site managers, System Engineers, and Technicians to meet completion dates and manage costs.

The role requires bilingual communication, strong Excel skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic construction/office environment. A PMP is a plus and a Bachelor’s degree is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate in English and Spanish is required.
• Strong working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products.
• Comfortable with routinely shifting demands.
• Working knowledge of general office equipment.
• Ability to prioritize projects and deliver key objectives on tight deadlines.
• Being an effective team player.
• Comfortable working in an office setting as well as a construction site.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail and confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities from initiation to closing in coordination with Site managers, System Engineers, and Technicians.
• Maintain budget and manage change orders; ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee scheduling, cost accounting, documentation, and system acceptance.
• Prepare and review project documentation, schedules, and RFQs.
• Ensure proper communication and reporting to stakeholders.
